Chérie Lou starts at a design level in-house in our design studio. Marie, the original founder of Sixth Dimension & co-founder of Chérie Lou is dedicated to creating unique and timeless garments with the support of our skilled design team. We work closely with our manufacturing team in China to bring our designs to life while ensuring they stand the test of time.
Although we started as a brand that exclusively sold vintage pieces, our passion for creating distinctive and enduring garments has remained unwavering. While we have recently introduced our own limited series collections, our commitment to producing pieces that will eventually become vintage items remains unchanged. That's why we only produce our collections in limited quantities, making each piece truly one-of-a-kind and destined to become a cherished vintage piece in the future.
Manufacturing Process
Our manufacturing process is geared towards being low waste. We do not engage in mass production; We produce limited series collections to minimize excess stock. Most of our designs have only 50-70 pieces at a time and we only restock once the whole collection is completely sold out and some collections are limited edition. Our goal is to reduce our environmental footprint with each collection by carefully selecting fabrics that have the least harmful impact on the environment. However, achieving full sustainability without mass production can be costly, which presents challenges in maintaining affordable prices for our customers. Nevertheless, as we continue to grow as a brand, we are working towards increasing our sustainability. To further reduce our environmental impact, we use sustainable packaging materials, such as eco-friendly neck tags, hang tags and bags, so you can feel at ease with every aspect of your purchase.
Manufacturing Partners
We are meticulous in selecting our manufacturing partners, as we believe that every step of the manufacturing process should be environmentally responsible and socially conscious. We ensure that our partners share our values and adhere to fair labor practices, including no child labor, no bonded labor, decent working hours, no discrimination, and fair remuneration for all workers involved in the production process.
